The friends sat round the campfire at sunset under a string of warm bulbs, one in orange headphones with a mug of tea, the kettle steaming and the camp cat asleep by the flames — Fireside
Work is done for the day. The kettle is on, the cat has the warm spot, and the lights are up.

A wanderer on a log by the fire on a snowy morning, headphones round their neck and tea in hand, the ginger cat sat in the low sun and the bulbs still lit behind — Snowy morning
First light after the snow. Tea before anything else, and the cat agrees.

The old drystone shepherd's bothy at dusk in the rain, a lantern lit inside the doorway and the moor going grey around it — Bothy in the rain
Somebody left the lantern lit in the bothy. The rain can do what it likes.

Old carriages stood at the station platform in falling snow, lamplight on the rails and the station roof dark behind — The last train
The 18:10, waiting at the platform in the snow. Nobody is quite sure who it is waiting for.
