Every new world now starts on Halloween 1999, with sixty-two nights to the millennium and November nights of its own. The hall past the bog is a ruined abbey you can climb, four storeys of it. And since v0.0.29: farming, fishing, a stew pot and a camp that looks after itself.

Every world now starts on 1 December 1999 and counts down to a Millennium Bug finale, with event nights on the way. The old railway has a story and a train, runs pay out arcade tokens for starting kits, there is a sticker album and mixtapes to find, and the music is made by the game as you play.

A devlog rather than a release note: two views because half the house wanted a camera they could turn, an update path I should have built on day one, a moor where every creature and hill was the wrong size, and the rig that made a wardrobe possible.

Appearance is a proper screen now, with eight haircuts and a wardrobe of mid-nineties clothes, some of it earned by surviving. Going down with friends around is no longer the end of the night, and the game is on TestFlight, Google Play and Linux.
11 September 2026
The biggest update yet: a bigger world on the Hollow Moors in 1999, with moorland, a western forest, marsh pools and an abandoned railway station. Longer days, busier nights, a stalker you can kill, and menus that fit every screen.
10 September 2026
Alpha v0.0.10 puts a year on the game: ten finds from 1999 scattered through the woods, a bag to keep what you carry, a CRT filter to play it all on, and trees in 3D that finally look like a wood.
9 September 2026
From Monday 21 September 2026, new builds and in-game updates are only available to people who own the game. Buy before then for £4.99 and nothing changes for you.
